Delainey Casey, LMHC
About DelaineyMH26185
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I bring a unique and deeply holistic perspective to therapy, shaped by years of experience supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most significant transitions. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a Labor Doula, Postpartum Doula, and End-of-Life Doula, providing compassionate care during the beginnings, transformations, and endings that define the human experience.
My counseling approach integrates evidence-based practices with a strong belief in the healing power of authentic connection, resilience, and personal growth. I am trained in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and help couples strengthen communication, deepen emotional intimacy, navigate conflict, and build lasting, healthy relationships.
As a Certified Adventure Therapist, I also incorporate experiential and nature-based interventions when appropriate, helping clients engage in meaningful self-discovery beyond traditional talk therapy. My work is grounded in creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families can explore challenges, develop new skills, and move toward greater well-being.
Drawing from my background in birth, postpartum, and end-of-life care, I have a particular appreciation for the complexities of life transitions, caregiving, grief, identity development, relationship changes, and personal transformation. I am honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges and discover their own capacity for healing and growth.
