Laura Pigott, LMHC
Laura Pigott, LMHC - Expert EMDR, DBT, & CBT Therapist
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Nurture Health Therapy Group, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and experience lasting healing. I specialize in helping adults work through trauma, anxiety, burnout, and relationship challenges—whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready to take the next step toward growth.
For over a decade, I’ve supported individuals navigating the impact of traumatic experiences, chronic stress, and emotional fatigue. I have extensive experience working with first responders, healthcare professionals, and individuals in recovery from addiction or co-occurring disorders. My approach emphasizes safety, collaboration, and practical strategies to help you regain balance and confidence in your daily life.
Therapeutic ApproachMy therapeutic style is both trauma-informed and process-oriented, integrating EMDR therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based interventions. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to meet each client where they are. Together, we’ll uncover underlying patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, sustainable change. At Nurture Health, our mission goes beyond therapy—we aim to offer a dedicated space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in ways that foster healing and transformation.
